Backgammon Set

The case of this backgammon set is solid walnut faced with genuine leather, and trimmed with ebony. It features hidden hinges and a solid brass latch. The playing surface is walnut, inlayed with tiger maple and cherry, and the checkers are solid brass sandwiched between tiger maple or ebony. The dice cups are walnut with an ebony accent, and the dice are acrylic.

The case, when closed, measures 17.5" x 16" x 3.25" and weighs 12.5 lbs. The checkers are 1.5" in diameter and weigh 20g each.

Every piece of this set with the exception of the dice and the hardware (hinges and latch) is handmade, and hand cut. This listing is for the actual set in the photos. It is one of a kind.
